Leather Worker - 1yr Experience Preferred

This position is for sewing Sandlot's newest creation called Yardball™. So, what is a Yardball? A Yardball is a unique product that was invented by Sandlot Goods right here in Kansas City. Simply put, the Yardball combines the soft leather of a glove with the size and throwabiltiy of a baseball. A wool felt core is wrapped in cotton twine and then covered in a custom leather outer and hand stitched to perfection. Yardball Sewing Team Member A Yardball Sewer will join the team of talented craftspeople and participate in the start to finish manufacturing of Yardballs. The position requires the learning and mastery of wrapping Yardball cores, prepping parts for sewing and the hand stitching of a Yardball. Once selected to join the Yardball team you will begin a training program that lasts up to 2 weeks that will guide you to perfecting the craft of sewing Yardballs.
