This role prioritizes and processes HOT orders, manages material shortages, builds and stages pre-configured kits, and creates picture-based Bills of Material (BOMs) to support efficient order picking and accuracy. The position utilizes RF scanning devices and SAP to maintain inventory accuracy, process transactions, and ensure expedited customer requirements are met.\n\nEssential Responsibilities\nPrioritize and fulfill HOT (expedited) customer orders to meet shipping and delivery commitments.\nPick, verify, pack, and stage materials required for urgent customer orders.\nUtilize RF scanners and SAP to perform inventory transactions, material movements, and order processing activities.\nMonitor inventory availability and identify material shortages that may impact customer orders or site requirements.\nProcess and communicate shortages to manufacturing sites, warehouse leadership, planners, and other stakeholders.\nCreate, build, and maintain pre-built kits for frequently requested products and customer orders.\nStage completed kits in designated warehouse locations to support efficient order fulfillment.\nCreate and maintain picture-based Bills of Material (BOMs) to improve picking accuracy and standardize kit configurations.\nVerify material quantities, part numbers, and product configurations to ensure order accuracy.\nAnswer questions regarding HOT order status, kit availability, inventory locations, and material shortages.\nCoordinate with Shipping, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Warehouse teams to resolve material and order issues.\nAssist with inventory control activities including cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations.\nMaintain clean, organized, and accurately labeled storage and staging locations.\nFollow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.\nSupport receiving, put-away, replenishment, and other warehouse operations as needed.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material handling operations.\nExperience using RF scanning devices and warehouse management systems.\nExperience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.\nAbility to read and interpret pick lists, work orders, inventory reports, and Bills of Material.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience processing expedited or customer-priority orders.\nExperience with warehouse kitting operations.\nExperience creating or maintaining Bills of Material (BOMs).\nForklift certification or ability to become certified.\nKnowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.\nAbility to work safely in a warehouse and distribution environment.\n\nKey Competencies\nOrder Fulfillment\nInventory Accuracy\nSAP Proficiency\nRF Scanner Operation\nMaterial Handling\nKitting Operations\nShortage Management\nCustomer Service Support\nAttention to Detail\nTime Management\nTeamwork and Communication\nSafety Awareness\n\nNotes:\n7am-3.30pm\n\nVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
