Job Description Material Handlers / Forklift Operator $18.00Location: San Jacinto, CA Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2.45pm, flex for Saturdays if Production is working Duration: Long term, Temp to Hire opportunityJob Overview:We are hiring for positions in the Receiving Department which also is responsible for both Shipping and Receiving. These positions will help unload incoming materials off the delivery trucks and store materials in various departments throughout the plant.Receive shipments, check for damages and sort material for distribution Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution. Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs. Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks. Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean. Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.Skills & QualificationsPrevious Fork Lift Operator and Materials Handling experience required Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a huge plus! Drug Screen is required
