Work is performed within established federal and state requirements, program objectives, policies, and procedures, with latitude for the exercise of initiative and judgment in completing assigned responsibilities.\n\nSCOPE OF WORK\n\nRural Health Transformation\n\nAssist with the coordination and implementation of workforce initiatives within Rhode Island’s Rural Health Transformation Program, including, but not limited to:\n\n* Pre-employment and incumbent worker job training\n* Career and Technical Education\n* Professional Development and Continuing Education\n* Primary Care Residency\n* Ladders to Licensure\n* Clinical Placement Consortium\n* Recruitment and Retention Incentives\n* Behavioral Health Certificate for Home Care\n\nResponsibilities for RHTP workforce initiatives shall include:\n\n* Support the development, administration, and monitoring of grants, contracts, subrecipient activities, and vendor deliverables in accordance with applicable federal and state requirements.\n* Maintain project workplans, timelines, performance-tracking systems, reporting processes, and program records.\n* Support data collection, analysis, reporting, and program-evaluation activities.\n* Assist with project-level operations, partner coordination, meeting preparation, communications, and follow-up.\n* Research relevant workforce, education, rural health, healthcare, and grant-related policies and programs to inform program design and implementation.\n* Assist with the development of program materials, implementation processes, guidance, reports, and other written products.\n* Support engagement with employers, educational institutions, healthcare providers, state agencies, and other workforce partners.\n* Support coordination between RHTP workforce initiatives and related EOHHS health workforce and healthcare system planning activities.\n* Monitor assigned activities and elevate implementation, compliance, or reporting concerns to the Rural Health Workforce Transformation Coordinator.\n* Serve as a member of internal RHTP teams as necessary to support compliance with program requirements and alignment with RHTP objectives.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Capacity:\n\nMust have working knowledge of project and program administration, including federal grant requirements, project tracking, documentation, reporting, and compliance.\n\nFamiliarity with State of Rhode Island administrative, procurement, contracting, and grant-management processes is preferred.
