They will work diligently to fulfill the PSMI commitment of providing the right tool at the right price and the right time, efficiently and accurately performing all tasks related to exceeding our customer’s requirements. Supply Chain & cutting tool background*\nJob Functions:\nIncrease the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions\nDrive initiatives in the plant that contribute to long-term operational excellence and cost savings\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of engineering terminology\nPromote safety and encourage a safe working environment\nUtilize financial data to improve profitability\nDevelop/maintain inventory management systems designed to control inventory\nPlan for effective strategies for the financial well-being of PSMI\nLiaison with top PSMI management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity\nDevelop effective business relationships with the customer and supply base\nPerform purchasing/receiving functions as needed\nDrive initiatives for cost savings\nMonitor tool performance and report the results to plant\nManage overall location as well as employees on site\nCreate and provide reports and presentations\nCompetencies:\nSupply Chain Background Required. Tooling & Manufacturing background required. Strong focus on detail, ingenuity, and self-motivation. Have the ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others. Show the ability to help solve problems in the work place by finding solutions. Attend Team meetings and follow up on demands. Stay on track with personal and plant goals, and also the tasks and goals set by your manager.
