You will:\nProject Oversight and Site Coordination\nInterface with client representatives, architect representatives, and other contractors to ensure project construction aligns with design and schedule\nPlan, coordinate, and supervise on-site and off-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, direction of administrative staff)\nSupervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract\nWalk site daily (if not more) to review quality and installation of work\nSet up field office and job site\nReview plans, specifications, and contract documents\nSchedule Management and Documentation\nCreate and maintain the Baseline Schedule (with assistance of Project Manager), as required\nUpdate the schedule and produce three-week look ahead for project meetings\nComplete Daily Job Logs in Procore format\nReview meeting minutes\nQuality Control and Safety\nImplement and enforce safety compliance program\nEnsure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules\nDocument violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement corrective action as required\nCoordinate and implement punch list corrections\nTechnical and Administrative Tasks\nAuthorize, approve, and document project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, field design changes, and modifications in construction methods\nProvide technical assistance (interpret drawings, recommend construction methods and equipment) as required\nDevelop and generate RFIs for plan and specification discrepancies, clarifications, unforeseen conditions, and other construction issues\nReview submittal packages, change orders, change order requests, subcontract change orders, and purchase orders\nAssist in Accounts Payable invoice review\nReview close-out documents\nTeam Leadership and Communication\nSupport the growth and development of field staff through training and mentoring opportunities\nAssume responsibility for craft productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project\nAssist project management in developing and implementing project procedures and working documents\nPrepare for and participate in project meetings\nPerform additional assignments per Project Manager's direction\nWhat’s Required by You\nThe ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to managing complex projects and be personable, proactive, and organized. You will have:\nA minimum of five years of relevant experience; experience at a general contractor preferred.\nA comprehensive knowledge of construction systems, materials, procurement processes, code compliance, critical path scheduling, and safety measures.\nExcellent written and verbal communication.\nDemonstrated team leadership skills.\nStrong and resourceful problem-solving abilities.\nMastery of MS Project and the MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nExperience with occupied rehabs is a plus\nExperience with Procore construction management software is a plus.\n\nMust be local to the San Francisco Bay Area and able to visit job sites on a regular basis. Familiarity with local construction markets and contractors is a plus. No relocation assistance will be offered.
