Join the Logoplaste Team!Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Production Supervisor to join the team in Lima, OH (USA).The Production Supervisor will be directly responsible for production floor operations, products, equipment and personnel. The production managerial role is a “hands on” position.Key Tasks & Activities...Oversee daily production operationsEnsure that products are produced on time and are of good qualityEnforce quality control and set quality standardsEnsure on time production and deliveryInventory controlWorking with senior management to implement company policy and goalsEnsuring health and safety guidelines are followedSupervising a team of multi skilled personnelIdentify and address training needs and refresher trainingProviding on call technical support for process and basic mechanical issues if requiredWork closely with operations, purchasing, engineering, and quality to achieve manufacturing resultsOversee planned maintenance operationsManage human and material resources to achieve resultsMake decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurementWorkout and implement standard operating procedures for operations and ensure that they are adhered toManage production costsDetermine improvements to the production processAnalyse production and quality to detect and correct problemsReview employee performanceManage labor hours for production employeesMake decisions for temp laborComply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP practices and Global Food Safety practices.Other duties as assigned by managerWho we are looking for...Background and ExperienceMinimum 5 years related management experience in manufacturing environment; partnered with strong leadership skillsIndustry experience preferredStrong communication skills with all levels of the organizationSAP experienceLogistics background preferredAble to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends based on business demandKnowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, quality systems and standardsGood working knowledge of relevant legislation, including health and safetyProficient with MS Word, ExcelLogoplaste offers an excellent benefits package with genuine career development opportunities.Follow us on LinkedIn!Logoplaste is an equal opportunities employer, where the foundation of our culture and our drive is based on Diversity & Inclusion.
