This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer must possess a strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management. They are also required to adhere to safety standards and protocols.\n\nMajor Duties & Responsibilities\nAssist in the development and implementation of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.\nConduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.\nPrepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.\nCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.\nMonitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.\nWork closely with quality control manager to ensure strict guidelines are adhered to.\nEducation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nAbility to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field highly preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.\nFamiliarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.\nFamiliarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.\nProficiency in construction project management.\nStrong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.\nAbility to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.\nAbility to track submittals and complete RFIs, REAs, CORs, and CTCs.\nExperience with quality control tasks on a heavy civil construction site.
