The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in SQL, Python, and modern data warehousing with a deep understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric, and a solid understanding of cloud-based architectures.\n\nWhat You Will Get To Do\nDesign, develop, and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and expose data across multiple systems.\nBuild and maintain data models and warehouse layers, enabling high-performance analytics and reporting.\nCollaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver well-structured data solutions.\nWrite clean, efficient, and testable code in SQL and Python to support automation, data quality, and transformation logic.\nSupport deployment and orchestration workflows, using Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar tools.\nWork across multi-cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS and GCP optional) to integrate data sources and manage cloud-native components.\nContribute to CI/CD practices and data pipeline observability (monitoring, logging, alerting).\nEnsure data governance, security, and compliance in all engineering activities.\nSupport ad hoc data science and machine learning workflows within Dataiku.\n\nWhat You Bring to the Team\n4+ years of experience in a data engineering or related software engineering role.\nProficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, transformation, and scripting.\nStrong experience working with Snowflake and MSSQL Server.\nPractical knowledge of working with cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with modern data modeling and warehouse optimization techniques.\nExperience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or DBT preferred.\nExposure to Microsoft Fabric components like OneLake, Pipelines, or Direct Lake.\nFamiliarity with cloud services across AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud environments.\nUnderstanding of or curiosity about Dataiku for data science and advanced analytics collaboration.\nAbility to work independently and with a team in a hybrid/remote environment.\n\nLocation\nWisconsin is preferred.\n\nTravel\nAbility to travel up to 10% of the time.\n\nBenefits & Compensation\nAmplifi offers excellent compensation and benefits including, but not limited to, health, dental, 401(k) program, employee assistance program, short and long-term disability, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), PTO program, flex work schedules and paid holidays.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAmplifi is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
