Additional Job Description
West Virginia University Medicine is seeking a Hospitalist at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV. The successful candidate will practice hospital medicine in the primary location of New Martinsville, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
West Virginia Medical License eligible.
Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
Schedule and Compensation
Full time, 12‑hour shifts: one weekday shift; one weeknight shift.
Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
Exempt/Non‑Exempt: United States of America (Exempt).
Location
3 East Benjamin Drive, New Martinsville, West Virginia.
