As a QCS, you'll develop and implement quality control, ground safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications.\n\nResponsibilities\nPrimary functions include (but are not limited to):\n\nDevelop and implement quality control, ground safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications.\n\nPerform audits on work centers, maintenance actions, documentation, equipment, facilities and other identified items in the contract that require quality control.\n\nGenerate reports to meet contractual and company requirements.\n\nReview, audit and develop processes to identify trends and provide trend analysis with supporting graphs and documentation.\n\nObtain tech data from appropriate sources and ensure appropriate areas are up to date.\n\nInitiate and review all quality reports, e.g., IPQDRs, mishap reports, flight analysis, etc.\n\nAssist contract and government personnel in resolving problems, developing new tech data or processes.\n\nPerform maintenance actions as needed to maintain currency for training and inspection completion.\n\nPerform duties as a Quality Aviation inspector, inspecting work performed by technicians and/or aircraft mechanics such as modifications or repairs/overhaul of aircraft and/or aircraft systems.\n\nEnsure conformance to service guidance, engineering specifications, and customer requirements and adhere to service guidance, aviation standards, engineering drawings/blueprints, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n\nPerform inspections of maintenance tasks, field level modifications, and completed repair tasks on aircraft or uninstalled components.\n\nInspect for airworthiness and quality of aircraft maintenance and alterations.\n\nRelease aircraft for flight, as applicable.\n\nDocument non‑conformance/malfunctions in applicable logbooks or workbooks.\n\nComplete non‑conformance and corrective action reports as required (NCR).\n\nVerify/witness torque and verify completeness of critical safety items (CSI).\n\nProvide \"OK to install\" for aircraft component parts.\n\nConduct weights and balances tasks as required.\n\nFollow and adhere to company FOD SOP and tool control procedures.\n\nPerform receiving inspections on DOD or FAA parts.\n\nIdentify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities.\n\nProvide guidance and work leadership to less‑experienced staff members or assist maintenance leaders.\n\nCarry out inspection duties at both domestic and international locations, as assigned.\n\nBe willing to work irregular hours to support projects if needed.\n\nPerform other duties and related tasks within scope as assigned by a supervisor.\n\nWork Conditions\n\nWork will be accomplished in enclosed buildings and may involve temperatures that vary over the year.\n\nWork includes cross‑utilization into other positions that fall within our scope of work.\n\nThe position will require overtime and weekend work.\n\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted to the waist.\n\nMust be able to deploy to both CONUS and OCONUS for short stints.\n\nRequirements\n\nHigh School diploma or GED.\n\nCompleted military aviation maintenance training or aviation maintenance technical school curriculum or possess an FAA‑issued A&P license (or equivalent).\n\nUnderstanding of Environmental, Health and Safety programs such as lockout tag out, hazardous materials, shelf life requirements, etc.\n\nExperience with aircraft records management as well as tool and FOD controls and training programs.\n\nProficiency in AS9100/AS9110 and DCMAI 8210.\n\nKnowledge of researching technical orders, processing engineering requests, and munitions management.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).\n\nCurrent NM or TX driver’s license required;
