We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\n\nJob Summary\nWe are looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer to work on various Roadway Transportation construction projects located in Riverside County. This position will be on-site and involves inspecting construction procedures and verifying that work completed by contractors is in accordance with contract documents for roadway and bridge projects.\n\nResponsibilities & Qualifications\nResponsibilities\n\nComplete daily inspection reports.\n\nPerform inspection of foundation construction (pile driving/drilling).\n\nComplete bridge superstructure calculations utilizing four-scales.\n\nPerform inspection of falsework placement and removal.\n\nAssist in the documentation of pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate.\n\nAssure general compliance with standards and specifications.\n\nAssure documentation, and accuracy of monthly progress payments.\n\nAccurately track change order work.\n\nLog and track material inspection, certification, and acceptance for the project.\n\nOther duties as needed.\n\nQualifications (Including Education and/or Job Experience)\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar.\n\n5+ years of relevant experience with the concepts and practices within the highway and bridge construction field.\n\nMust have the ability to assist in the resolution of project issues effectively and efficiently.\n\nClient focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.\n\nStrong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.\n\nHigh levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.\n\nDemonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.\n\nAdditional Information\nT.Y.
