This individual will support the design and construction of a variety of new projects and renovations to existing industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities at various sites. You will assist in the design and construction activities of multiple critical capex projects while working with internal and external stakeholders, interfacing with end users, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering teams.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nCoordinate structural design on multidiscipline project teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals.\nConduct structural analysis and design of concrete and steel structures, along with the creation of justifying structural calculations.\nMake technical assumptions, think independently to complete assigned work, and draw conclusions based on engineering judgment.\nDevelop and mentor less experienced engineering staff.\nPresent 30% 60% 90% design reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams\nComplete field work independently or with the design team\nManage structural projects from estimating through construction.\nWorking knowledge of US building codes and structural design standards.\nProvide planning estimates with limited scoping information.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural\nMinimum 5 years of experience in structural design of commercial, industrial, or oil & gas industries\nRegistered and in good standing as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California and with an active NCEES record and the ability to acquire a PE license from other States.
