Up-sell all IFP services to include inspections, sprinkler installation and monitoring.\r\nWork with Project Leader, Schedule Coordinator and Office Administrative Staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client (Ensure that work is completed so it can be billed in full).\r\nTravel as required to job sites as directed by your foreman and/or other leaders.\r\nInventory and maintain organization of materials on the job site.\r\nMeet responsibilities to the customer, fellow workers and IFP by arriving on the job on time, ready to work, every day.\r\nAdhere to contractual starting and quitting times, including lunch and break periods. Personal cell phones will not be used during the workday except for designated break periods.\r\nMaintain accountability and respect tools provided by IFP.\r\nComplete work at or below budgeted labor hours. Immediately inform your leaders of any delays or work stoppages.\r\nRespect the customer's property. Dispose of all trash properly and be aware of your surroundings to avoid property damage.\r\nUnderstand and follow all customer, APi Group and IFP safety and security policies and procedures.\r\nObey all safe, reasonable, and legitimate leadership directives.\r\n\r\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\r\n\r\nMinimum of 4 years of experience with fire alarms and special hazards\r\nHolding a Manufacturers and state licenses for Fire Alarm License to inspect Suppression Systems is preferred\r\nHave a strong knowledge of NFPA codes and industry standards\r\nMaintain good habits and do not cut corners\r\nExcellent communication and organizational skills along with Outstanding Customer facing service and problem-solving skills\r\nStay current with code requirements and industry changes\r\nAble to inspect alarm and special gas systems, FM 200, Sapphire, CO2, high pressure and low pressure\r\nPC Skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook\r\nCommunicate effectively with your leaders regarding job status and any concerns\r\nKeep your work truck clean and organized\r\nIn addition to required PPE, dress appropriately to represent yourself and IFP as a professional tradesman and organization, respectively\r\nValid state Driver's License required\r\nWilling to pass post-offer drug screen, reference and background check\r\n\r\nEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS\r\n\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\r\nNICET Certification; OSHA Certification is a plus\r\nPrior suppression system manufacturer certification is a plus\r\nSpecific training in the fire industry preferred\r\n\r\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\r\n\r\nAbility to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.\r\nRegular bending, reaching, climbing and walking.\r\n\r\nCompensation & Benefits:\r\nThis role will be based out of our Naples, FL branch.
