Property Leasing Consultant

As a Leasing Consultant, you manage your own success by attaining leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth and by building rapport with prospects and residents. This position reports directly to the Property Manager.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's degree is preferredRelated work experience is a plusComputer literacy in MS Word, e-mailEffective communication and customer service skillsAbility to interact with others in a team environmentDrug test and background check requiredReliable transportation and a valid driver's license requiredRequirements JOB DUTIES:The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and lease renewals, including:Generating and handling trafficLeasing apartmentsQualifying prospectsPreparing lease documentation and completing move-in proceduresConvey resident service requests to the Maintenance Staff ? Assist the manager with competition market researchHandle telephone and internet trafficShowing "ready" apartmentsComputer literacy in MS Word, e-mailTravel Requirements• Travel is required for trainings, onboarding, and company-led learning sessions.• Travel may include visiting other TMG-managed communities and attending regional or corporate training events.• Overnight travel may be required on occasion, depending on training schedules and business needs.• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel as needed are required.
