Department: Information Technology Location: Philadelphia, PATravel Involved: 5-10%Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid Description: Braskem America is seeking a skilled SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) specialist with preferred experience in the SAP S/4 HANA platform, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Global Available-to-Promise (GATP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for partnering with the supply chain area to map business needs, architect/design solutions, prepare financial business cases (solution benefit-cost), and execute projects to deliver value to our business team. The candidate will also work to optimize and improve existing solutions and, as needed, to work closely with our operations support team to address support system issues and implement bug fixes. The candidate will play an important IT specialist role during the SAP ECC and APO migration to SAP S/4 HANA platform.Key Responsibilities Include: Solution Architecture:Partner with the US supply chain team to develop and maintain the SCM applications portfolio, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry and SAP best practicesLead design and architect end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SCM solution modules to meet business requirementsImplementation / Delivery:Identify transformation and business process re-engineering opportunities in the supply chain area and convert them into an implementation/delivery roadmapClosely worked with the implementation partner as the US IT supply chain lead for SAP ECC/APO to SAP S/4 HANA.Manage full implementation project lifecycle, from fit-gap analysis to configuration, documentation, training, testing, deployment, and hyper-care support for SAP and non-SAP applications in the supply chain process area.Lead/Perform various IT solution implementation activities, including creating and validating functional specifications, configuring SAP SD-LE modules, writing and validating test plans, designing and testing security roles, data migration, preparing cutover plans, and supporting training, etc.Continuous Improvement:Work closely with the business and assess SAP and non-SAP applications to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive supply chain operational efficiency and innovation.Stay updated on SAP S/4 HANA advancements and industry trends, recommending relevant upgrades and best practices.Application Maintenance / Support:Work closely with members of the external support team and with the global and local IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to supply chain applicationsProvide enhancement and maintenance support for the current and new supply chain systems, ensuring system performance, availability, and reliability.Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP implementation and support, with a focus on supply chain processesProven track record of delivering solutions in SAP ECC, APO, and/or S/4 HANA for complex supply chain operationsExtensive knowledge of SAP ECC PP/APO (DP, PP/DS, GATP, MRP)Experience with SAP integration tools (e.g., CPI, PI, BTP, CIF, API) and third-party systems.Knowledge of the Supply Chain process, including demand planning, supply planning, scenario planning, inventory planning and optimization, ATP, supply chain control tower, production planning, and detail scheduling.Good understanding of SAP APO as well as other SAP modules such as MM, PP, QM, SDAbility to configure SAP supply chain applicationsDeep knowledge or willingness to learn SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and Fiori applicationsAbility to lead and manage projects/products using waterfall methodology and agile methodologyPreferred Skills, Education, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.SAP certification in relevant SCM modules is preferredKnowledge of advanced supply chain analytics and machine learning integrationStrong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProject/Product management certificationStrong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with multiple levels of organizationMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for any sponsorship What we offerAt Braskem, we offer more than just a competitive pay package.
