Responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.\r\nJob Description\r\nDeveloping maintenance work packages for corrective, deficient and other work activities, ensuring maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the site procedures.\r\nPerforming job walk-downs in all areas of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant to validate correctness of scope, parts, clearances and work package preparation for the Maintenance Shop and Contract Maintenance.\r\nInitiating required permits, clearance requests for the scope of work and identifying support needs from other groups.\r\nProviding work instructions and oversight to the field at a level of detail determined by the scope of work to ensure due dates and completion standards are met.\r\nPerforming Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties as assigned.\r\nEducation, Experience and Skills Required:\r\nHigh school diploma or GED and 5 years of related field experience in Instrument and Controls Maintenance or Operations at a nuclear power plant required. In lieu of experience, a degree in Engineering is required.\r\nAbility to collect and analyze complex technical data from multiple sources (i.e., technical manuals, drawings, weld drawings, electrical and I&C schematics, procedures, and specifications).\r\nStrong leadership skills for planning, being self-directed and working with peers and others.
