We are seeking the best and the brightest in their fields to help shape the future of Air Refueling across the USAF and DoD.\nKBR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join the Future Tankers Program Office. The ideal candidate will serve as a SME in acquisition management and logistics, providing critical support to the development and implementation of advanced air-refueling systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide expert-level Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support to the Future Tankers Program Office, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.\nDevelop and maintain SCRM & DMSMS management plans, reports, and tracking tools.\nCollaborate with engineering, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure proactive resolution of obsolescence issues.\nInterface with OEMs, suppliers, and government stakeholders to identify alternate sources and replacement strategies.\nSupport lifecycle sustainment planning and contribute to acquisition and modernization efforts.\nConduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for supply chain disruptions.\nUtilize tools such as AVCOM, PCN, and other SCRM & DMSMS databases to monitor and report on part status.\nPrepare briefings and documentation for senior leadership and program reviews.\nWork Environment:\nLocation: on site, in office\nTravel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%\nWorking Hours: Standard\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field\n15 yrs Program Management experience of which 10 must be in Supply Chain & DMSMS analysis and management\nMust possess a Secret with the ability to get Top Secret\nStrong understanding of Air Force acquisition and sustainment processes.\nFamiliarity with Refueling, Tankers or similar advanced aviation platforms is a plus.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and DMSMS-specific tools.\nDesired Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field\nExperience supporting Air Force Program Offices or similar DoD entities.\nKnowledge of MIL-STD-3018 and other relevant DMSMS guidance.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nReady to Make a Difference?\nIf you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
