Candidate will work with network users to identify potential issues and fix existing problems. Candidate should have a firm understanding of network infrastructure, network hardware and, management of network infrastructure. Candidate must be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. Candidate will be responsible for standard processes and procedures for monitoring the government client's hardware and software. Candidate must be able to work effectively with the Enterprise Architects, OS engineers, and operation support teams.\r\nJob Functions:\r\nConfigure and maintain government client networks, including routers, switches, encoders/decoders, and VPNs.\r\nDesign, test, and evaluate new network solutions and hardware.\r\nMonitor, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate network issues.\r\nWork with application teams, customers and other support teams to co-ordinate and facilitate incident triage and resolve production monitoring issues in a timely manner.\r\nManage ServiceNow tickets and service requests to ensure a resolution in a timely and efficient manner.\r\nDevelop standard operating procedures and user guides.\r\nIdentify and develop ways to improve and automate monitoring to gain operational efficiencies and improve responsiveness.\r\nRequired Skills/Experience:\r\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills.\r\nHighly organized, structured, process-oriented, and a self-starter.\r\nAbility to work independently as well as with a team.\r\nMinimum of 5 years supporting networking and collaboration services to include production and technical support.\r\nExperience with:\r\nVoice Over IP [VOIP] (digital-to-analog conversions, including encoders and decoders)\r\nCellular technology (4G/LTE, 5G)\r\nCellular signal automators (for signal strength, quality, signal-to-noise ratio)\r\nRouter and modem firmware (Cisco, Digi, Cradlepoint, Fortinet)\r\nLow Earth Orbiting (LEO) satellite telecommunications\r\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.\r\nCurrent CCNA certification required, CCNP certification desired.\r\nAbility to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance.\r\nAbout Inalab Consulting, Inc.\r\nInalab Consulting is a leading Small Business IT solutions and strategy consulting firm focused on providing solutions that transform enterprise operations in the government and commercial sectors by dependably bridging the gap between business strategy and technology.
