This role supports both inpatients and outpatients by conducting psychosocial assessments, offering counseling, and coordinating referrals in collaboration with medical staff. The Lead LCSW also guides a team of social workers to ensure best practices in patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform clinical social work duties including assessments, referrals, and patient/family counseling.Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other care professionals to deliver holistic patient care.Provide leadership and mentoring to fellow social workers within the department.Contribute to care planning and discharge coordination for complex cases. Required QualificationsMaster's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.Active California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) upon hire.Minimum 5 years of clinical social work experience, including 4 years in a healthcare setting. Preferred Qualifications4 years of supervisory or management experience in a social services or healthcare setting.
