The Program Manager has good technical knowledge of hydrogen production and fuel cell systems and problem-solving skills. The Program Manager works directly with engineering and design, procurement, fabrication, quality, safety, project controls, document control, accounting, and· construction management groups. The PM is a primary point of contact with clients, vendors, contractors/sub-contractors, third party service providers, attorneys, and regulatory agencies. This position focuses on meeting the needs of the project and continuously tracking all phases of a project from inception through completion. The Program Manager is responsible for monitoring all aspects of her/his projects (safety, quality, schedule, spending, profitability, documentation, etc.) and is responsible for implementing corrective measures to address deviations from the plan. The Program Manager reports to and works under the general supervision of the Director of Project Management. The Program Manager may work in combination with a Project Manager I, assisting on her/his projects. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and electronic filing. The job also operates in a construction site setting as well as in fabrication shops where proper PPE is necessary. The ability to move between settings is vital for this role. Project site visits will be required. Site visits generally require traversing uneven terrain and the potential hazards of active construction areas.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
