Innovation Coordinator - Contract

Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgenergymi.com Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for work that includes documenting Non-Conformance (NC) issues through comprehensive photo capture, accurate data entry, and detailed descriptions within SharePoint-based systems. Experienced in maintaining strict adherence to 5S3R standards, identifying NCs, supporting audit score uploads, and exemplifying company standards through consistent personal compliance. Must have strong fundamental computer skills and be capable to update SOP materials, collaborate and learn quickly from team members, and contribute to a self-driven innovation culture through teamwork, proactive communication, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Non-Conformance (NC) comprehensive documentation Capturing clear photos of NC’s during daily patrols and audits Uploading NC photos to a SharePoint database using a company device Adding detailed descriptions to each NC photo, including location & reason for NC Upload audit area scores into the 3R5S audit database Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Update Cleaning SOP PowerPoints into a new format using a standardized template Set an example in adherence to company standards as a member of Continuous Improvement Other tasks as assigned to contribute to the Continuous Improvement Team’s mission of continuously building a self-driven innovation culture. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience Able to walk up to 10,000 steps a day, including stairs Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience in complex mechanical assembly, tooling, and manufacturing in a highly automated and/or automotive engineering environment Skills: Detail-oriented Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation Proactive to work with other teams to achieve results Tech-savvy and eager to learn & develop Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
