The FCS Foundation is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization was founded in 2011 and located at 5204 Paylor Lane in Sarasota, Florida. The FCS Foundation assists cancer patients across the state of Florida. Due to the generosity of the Florida Cancer Specialists partner physicians in covering all overhead expenses for the Foundation, 100% of donations received go directly towards paying the essential non-medical living expenses of an adult battling cancer.,Like a good party? Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for Event Volunteers in the Tampa Bay/Lutz area for the "Lotus Gala", which be held Saturday, October.4, 2025, at Armature Works - Tampa - 1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa, FL 33602 This is an annual, signature fundraising event with proceeds providing non-medical financial support to cancer patients.Event Date Saturday, October 4, 2025Event Time 6 00-10 00pmEvent Location Armature Works - Tampa1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa, FL 33602VOLUNTEER ARRIVAL & TRAINING Arrival time 5 pmEvent training will be from 5 -5 40pmVolunteers in place by 5 45pmVolunteer Roles & ResponsibilitiesUpon arrival, volunteers will be assigned responsibilities for the evening. It is important to be flexible, as your roles may change throughout the evening!Ex Greeting and directing guests; registration; selling raffle tickets; overseeing the silent auction area; VIP table drawing; live auction spotters; silent auction closing; distributing guest thank you gifts; and event breakdown!VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS Attire will be black pants and shirt with close-toed shoes. NO alcohol during the event.Dinner will be provided during the event, and volunteers will be able to take breaks throughout the evening as needed in a designated room.
