We are seeking individuals who are experienced in facility operations, event readiness, and on-site coordination, and who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment where priorities shift based on daily operational and event needs.Pay: Up to $30.00hrThis role is well-suited for candidates who can balance hands-on facility oversight with coordination responsibilities across operations teams, vendors, and event stakeholders.Candidates must be available to support operations across standard business hours with flexibility based on venue and event activity, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekend coverage as required.Typical operational coverage includes:7:00 AM – 3:00 PM9:00 AM – 5:00 PM10:00 AM – 6:00 PMSchedules may vary depending on rental activity, load-ins/outs, and operational demands.Maintain daily operational readiness across assigned venues and ensure all spaces remain in \"event-ready\" condition at all times.Conduct weekly operational check-ins and morning coordination meetings with porter and operations teamsOversee daily venue readiness across multiple sites (including Center415, Annex417, and additional venues as needed)Maintain and update Open Logs across Google Sheets and Slack in real timeCoordinate and track operational receipts, invoices, and vendor documentation with Operations ManagementManage inventory across venues and ensure supply levels support upcoming eventsOversee routine inspection and maintenance of operational infrastructure including:Electrical systems and lighting functionalityHVAC systems and maintenance coordinationDoors, locks, and emergency exitsFire extinguishers and exit signage complianceElevators and freight access systems (when applicable)Scissor lifts and related equipment readinessMaintain organization of all operational and storage areas including supply closets, HVAC rooms, electrical rooms, kitchens, and freight corridorsEnsure compliance with safety standards and venue SOPs at all timesCoordinate pest control schedules, maintenance requests, and vendor servicesSupport event execution through:Pre-event walkthroughs and readiness checksLoad-in and load-out coordination and documentationHourly venue walkthroughs during active eventsClient-facing operational support and expectation managementCoordinate with Venue Managers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event executionSupport DOB / FDNY walkthroughs and compliance requirements as neededOversee trash management scheduling, pickup coordination, and curbside logisticsPrior experience in facilities operations, venue management, event operations, hospitality operations, or similar environment required or strongly preferredExperience working in large-scale venues, commercial buildings, or multi-site operations is highly desirableStrong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyComfortable working in both hands-on and supervisory/coordination capacitiesAbility to conduct physical operational tasks as needed (walking venues, inspecting infrastructure, assisting with setup support)Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams, vendors, and clientsFamiliarity with operational tools such as Google Sheets, Slack, and basic documentation systems preferredAvailability to support flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, and event-driven shiftsCompetitive compensation aligned with experienceOpportunity to support high-profile venue and live event operationsExposure to multi-venue operational management and large-scale event executionConsistent engagement based on ongoing operational and event demandCollaborative, fast-paced environment with hands-on responsibility and growth opportunity Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
