{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ac71ff7c13744ed86e16fbf8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ac71ff7c13744ed86e16fbf8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ac71ff7c13744ed86e16fbf8","title":"Chemical Process Technician 3rd Shift","description":"Who are we looking for?\nA person in this position is responsible for operating production equipment to manufacture chemical batches in compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all local state and federal regulations regarding safety, health, and the environment.\n\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nWork from written procedures to process, purify, and chemically fabricate products and their compounds through a sequence of batch operations.\n\nOperate equipment, including reactors, tanks, pumps, mixers, pH meters, level meters, flow meters, valves, and hoses used in the manufacture of said products.\n\nHandle liquid and solid chemicals using pumps, scales and flow meters. Weigh, measure and check raw materials and finished product to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities and that accurate inventory is maintained.\n\nPerform product weighing, packaging, labeling, and boxing operations in accordance with SOP's.\n\nCollect process samples and interface with laboratory personnel for analysis.\n\nMaintain required log sheets including but not limited to batch tickets, packaging sheets, scrubber operation log, pH meter calibration, and equipment inspections.\n\nAttend required HSE training including Hazardous Waste Management, emergency response, and Hazard Communication, and demonstrate an acceptable level of understanding of topics.\n\nPackage, mark, and label Hazardous Waste containers.\n\nOperate equipment and follow procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, OHSA'S 18001 standards.\n\nMaintain housekeeping and 5S standards in work area.\n\nCommunicate with shift leader regarding safety, production, quality, or any other operational issues.
