Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Raleigh, NC.\n\nPlease note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future*\nWhat you need to have to be considered\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core/.NET application development.\nStrong experience developing modern web applications using Angular (2+) with proficiency in recent Angular versions.\nProficiency in C#, RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming, and modern software design patterns.\nExperience designing and developing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.\nSolid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.\nExperience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.\nFamiliarity with cloud-based application development, preferably within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience with source control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.\nKnowledge of application security principles and secure coding standards.\nAbility to work independently and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.\nDemonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.\nPreferred Certifications\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.\nMicrosoft certifications related to .NET, Azure, cloud-native application development, or equivalent certifications demonstrating expertise in Microsoft technologies.\nAdditional Information\nWe welcome applicants who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
