This is a perm opportunity that will requires some travel to Illinois. The rate of pay is 80k -110k depending on experience.\nJob Responsibilites::\n•\nPerform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic assemblies and PCBs to ensure functionality and reliability.\n•\nWork extensively with microcontroller-based systems (8-bit to 32-bit) and peripherals including RTC, Timers, ADC, DAC, PWM, Interrupts, DMA, Capture/Compare, and UART.\n•\nProgram and configure C compilers, work with and without RTOS environments, and interface with USB, TCP/IP, CAN, and Modbus RTU communication stacks.\n•\nSupport design-for-manufacturing activities, including PCB layout review (2–6 layers), component placement, and high-current/high-voltage considerations.\n•\nOperate and maintain engineering pick-and-place equipment, including loading components, adjusting for odd shapes, and verifying placement accuracy.\n•\nPerform fine-pitch SMT soldering and rework down to 0402 components using both leaded and lead-free solder.\n•\nAssemble, test, and debug prototypes and pre-production units, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements.\n•\nDevelop and build test jigs, simulators, and fixtures, including wiring schematics, panel layouts, and safe use of hand tools.\n•\nOperate and interpret results from oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, and high-voltage power supplies.\n•\nCreate and refine Bills of Materials (BOMs) by cross-referencing general components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, diodes, etc.) to in-house part numbers, ordering prototypes, and applying appropriate scrap factors.\n•\nMaintain accurate, repeatable test data and assist in root cause analysis for production or field issues.\n•\nInstall and troubleshoot engineering software, firmware tools, and driver issues as needed for testing or production support.\n•\nPerform data collection, feasibility analysis, and assist in process or product improvement initiatives.\n•\nCollaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support builds, testing, and continuous improvement.\n•\nUse Outlook, Word, Excel, SolidWorks, CAB, and online databases to locate technical documentation, data sheets, and component specifications.\n•\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n•\nLegally authorized to work in the U.S. in compliance with ITAR regulations.\n•\n8+ years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support.\n•\nSolid understanding of microcontroller architectures, embedded systems, and communication protocols.\n•\nSkilled in use of test and measurement equipment for signal tracing and circuit validation.\n•\nHands-on experience with SMT soldering, rework, and prototype assembly.\n•\nStrong mechanical aptitude and fine motor skills for working with small components and lab tools.\n•\nExcellent documentation, organization, and communication skills.\n•\n\nPay Details: $80.00 to $110.00 per year\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled\n\nMilitary connected talent encouraged to apply\n\nTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy\n\nThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:\n\nThe California Fair Chance Act\nLos Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance\nLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers\nSan Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance\n\nMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
