3rd Shift Forklift Operator

3rd Shift Forklift OperatorOperates powered industrial trucks to load/unload materials and deliveries. Move them to/from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.Forklift Job Responsibilities:Safe and efficient operation of all power operated equipment that requires certificationSafe and efficient movement of product; including loading and unloading trucksAccurately pick and pack items for shipment with a forkliftWork with inventory control on correct product placementComplete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentationMaintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming itemsEnsure all items not required short term are restocked according to established procedureAssist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveriesAssist in cycle counting and periodic inventoriesAssist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectationsUpdate supervisor and team lead on issues or concernsParticipate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team leadMaintain a clean, organized and safe work areaSupport and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions (ISO standards where applicable)All other duties assignedForklift Job Requirements:High school diploma/GED equivalentOne to three years of previous HILO experienceMust be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in EnglishAbility to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracyAbility to lift/move up to 35 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environmentValid driver's license / consent and pass MVR testLifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of timeCrown Staffing provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
