Wear appropriate PPE for the task at hand and identified risks. Manage body positioning and activities to ensure safe operation to personnel and equipment. Complete equipment check sheets and report/address any deficiencies. Report any incidents immediately. Participate in safety incident reviews as required.\n* *Equipment Operation:* Receive training and become proficient in the safe and efficient operation of the following equipment:\n\n· Ship unloader. Specialized pneumatic vacuum unloader used to convey bulk Portland Cement from river barges to silo.\n\n· Excavator to remove/replace barge covers, shift barge location, remove/install Bobcat and other equipment for barge cleaning and other miscellaneous duties.\n\n· Bobcat to assist in cleaning out river barges.\n\n· Yard Dog to transport cement from one silo to the other pulling tanker trailer.\n\n· Terminal equipment and systems to accurately load cement into tankers.\n\n* *Maintenance:* Perform light maintenance, lubrication and inspections as required.\n* *Cleanliness: *Maintain highest level of cleanliness in all areas of the facility including trash, clutter, spare parts and materials.\n* *Customer Service Mentality: *Conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner interacting with truck drivers and other customer representatives with a mindset towards outstanding customer service.\n\n*Travel Requirements:* None anticipated.\n\n*Flexibility of Scheduling* : The weather and equipment operation have a significant influence on the scheduling of Terminal Operators. Portland Cement cannot be unloaded when it’s raining.
