Job Description Description:**This position is partially remote. Candidates will be required to work in the office a minimum of three days a week**To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.Title:PROJECT ENGINEERDepartment: Water & WastewaterReports To: Project ManagerEducation: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalentRegistration: Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana, or ability to obtain within 12 monthsExperience: Not less than 4 years in Water & Wastewater EngineeringDuties:Efficiently complete a set of contract documents, including Plans, Specifications, Quantities and Construction Cost EstimateConduct meetings, including composing meeting agendas and minutesClient contact Work and coordinate with other internal departmentsAssist in assembling Supplements, Proposals, and Engineer’s ReportsSign Final TracingsMeet deadlinesAlert Project Manager immediately upon realization of a problem on a projectMaintain the confidentially of information regarding our clients and company practicesPerform other duties as assignedSkills:Able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust possess strong communication skillsMust possess excellent organizational skillsAble to work in a “team” concept and direct the team in an efficient mannerAble to efficiently work on multiple assignments at one timeProficient with a computer and Microsoft Excel and Word and working knowledge of AutoCADAble to efficiently complete an entire set of contract documentsMust represent the firm professionally in publicMust be able to evaluate various water and wastewater equipment and materialsMust be able to prepare permit applications xaygatp Must be able to attend evening meetings with clients as neededMust possess the ability to interact with officials at all levels of governmentRequirements:Physical Requirements:Able to work seated for 9 or more hours per workdayAble to work 40 or more hours per work week, as neededAble to work outdoors traversing uneven or difficult terrainAble to travel throughout Indiana including overnight staysOther Requirements:Possess a valid Indiana driver’s licenseAgree to abide by the personnel policies identified in the Company Policy
