If you’re looking to grow your skills, take on meaningful challenges, and make a real impact, Excel Engineering offers the opportunity to do just that.\nRole Overview\nPeople Management: lead & inspire, mentor & coach, assist with talent acquisition & retention, manage personnel performance, perform regular performance reviews\nProject Execution: assign and plan resources, monitor project budgets, engage and monitor project stakeholders, and on occasion act as lead engineer on projects\nTechnical Expertise: ensure department processes, procedures and instructions are up to date and utilized, provide technical direction and support, resolve technical challenges, ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations\nClient Satisfaction & Project Sales: Regularly engage Clients to maintain relationships and communicate about systemic issues, solicit feedback from client stakeholders, assist with the development and submittal of proposals, identify and follow up on prospective project opportunities\nStrategic Alignment: Hold department meetings to identify, discuss and solve department issues, convey issues to management, align department initiatives with company annual and/or quarterly goals\nRequirements:\nExperience\nMinimum of six (6) years or more of experience in electrical engineering design\nSupervisory or team lead experience is preferred\nIndustrial electrical design experience in the following industries preferred: manufacturing, consumer goods, renewable energy, gas processing, chemical, and/or life sciences\nExpertise in National electrical Code (NEC), NFPA70E, and other applicable codes and standards\nProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure is strongly preferred\nEducation\nB.S in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institute.
