They are adding people across their machining operations and creating opportunities for experienced machinists across multiple skill levels and schedules.\r\nThis opportunity is geared toward someone with hands-on experience setting up, adjusting and operating multi-spindle lathes / automatic screw machines used to produce precision components from metal bar stock. If you understand how these machines work and can diagnose what is happening when they don't, your experience could be particularly valuable.\r\nThe work may include:\r\nSet up and operate multi-spindle automatic machining equipment\r\nRead blueprints and work to dimensions, tolerances and tooling specifications\r\nInstall and adjust collets, bushings, stock pushers, cams, gears, stops and cutting tools\r\nEstablish and adjust speeds, feeds, tooling positions and machine timing\r\nInspect first pieces and production parts using micrometers, calipers, height stands, comparators and other inspection equipment\r\nTroubleshoot machine, tooling, programming and material issues\r\nChange and maintain tooling and perform preventive maintenance\r\nProduce quality precision metal components in a busy production environment\r\nExperience with multi-spindle lathes, automatic screw machines, Acme-Gridley, New Britain, Euro-Turn/ZMC or similar bar-stock machining equipment may be particularly relevant.\r\nOur client offers multiple schedules, overtime opportunities for those who want additional hours, continued skill development and room to take on greater technical responsibility as the company grows.\r\nIf you've built your career around screw machines, multi-spindles, CNC or related machining equipment, we'd like to understand what you know and what type of opportunity works for you.
