Element is looking for a Metallurgical Sample Prep Technician to join our laboratory team in Daleville, IN.\n\nNo metallurgy experience? No problem.\n\nWe're seeking dependable, motivated individuals who are eager to learn and comfortable working in a laboratory and industrial environment. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with tools or equipment, and take pride in being reliable, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nCompensation: $20.00-$23.00 per hour\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPrepare material samples for testing and evaluation\n\nOperate laboratory preparation equipment\n\nGrind, polish, mount, and process metal samples\n\nWork with laboratory chemicals, acids, and fume hoods\n\nLog and track samples through the testing processHelp maintain equipment and support daily lab operations\n\nSafely handle materials and components up to 40 lbs\n\nSkills / Qualifications\n\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic\n\nComfortable with hands-on, physical work\n\nWillingness to learn and take direction\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks and solve problems\n\nComfortable working around machinery, chemicals, and industrial materials\n\nMechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required\n\nCompany Overview\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
