Free on-site parking and procedural scrubs provided.Job SummaryThe Interventional Radiology Technologist will support a broad range of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and experienced in assisting physicians during complex IR cases while maintaining strict sterile technique and radiation safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist physicians with IR procedures including:Thoracentesis, paracentesisEmbolization (UFE)IVC filter placement and retrievalCentral line and PICC line placementCT-guided biopsies and needle aspirationsFistula and vascular access proceduresShock wave lithotripsyPrepare and maintain sterile fieldsOperate imaging equipment and assist with fluoroscopic guidanceEnsure radiation safety compliance for patients and staffAnticipate physician needs and communicate effectively with the care teamDocument procedures accurately per department protocols Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experienceActive Illinois IEMA LicenseARRT (CT) - ActiveBLS (AHA) - ActiveStrong knowledge of aseptic technique and radiation safetyExcellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred QualificationsRCIS and/or CBT certification (highly preferred, not required)Experience working in high-volume or crisis IR settings Additional InformationFloating: Not requiredScrubs: Provided by facilityParking: Free on-siteWork Environment: Collaborative, physician-driven, traveler-friendly
