People like you.\nVisit our\ncareers\npage to see what exciting opportunities and company\nperks\nawait!\nJob Description:\nWe are seeking a Principal Engineer-Validation to join our development teams in the 32-bit microcontroller division.\nReporting to the manager of the analog validation group, you will be part of the 32-bit Microcontroller Validation team, based at Chandler, USA.\nYou will work with team members located in Nantes (France), Bangalore (India), and other corporate team members worldwide (UK, Philippines …).\nYou will validate the analog modules embedded in our 32-bit microcontrollers to extract the electrical performance characteristics required for the product datasheet specification. You will also contribute to the development of our analog and parametric test infrastructure.\nSignificant time will be spent developing test cases, performing lab bench experiments, and assisting other team members in the validation of 32-bit microcontrollers.\nAlthough you are not an expert in analogue electronics, you have a keen interest in this field. If you have experience of digital validation, this job could be a good match for your skills and interests.\nResponsibilities\nContribute to the development of the new 32-bit microcontrollers within the project teams\nCollaborate with international teams in analog design, integration, validation, application, and product engineering\nSpecify the validation plans of analog modules to be validated\nDesign hardware schematics (Altium Designer)\nDevelop automated lab-based testing of microcontrollers for analog modules.\nDebug new products with the design teams to identify the root cause of issues\nAnalyze the measurement results, correlate with design simulations and create reports for each analog module (IP)\nSpecify of the electrical performance of IPs for the product datasheet\nContribute to the overall improvement of methods, quality and the optimization of our validation processes (tools, test infrastructure, improvement of measurement methods, data processing, etc.).\nCollaborate with analog design and contribute to customer support analysis when accurate analog measurements are required\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nbachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent)\n10 years of related work experience\nGood knowledge of analog electronics\nStrong experience of measurement methods and the use of equipment such as: oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, multimeter, current and voltage source, etc....
