You will be responsible for helping lead our engineering efforts through planning, design and architecture, execution, and ramp. As a technical leader on the team, you will be able to help mentor less experienced engineers, build strong relationships with technical leaders on other teams, and facilitate a strong team culture.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop competency across our complete web technologies stack (client, framework, and services)\nProduce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration\nWork with tech leads and actively engage with other engineers on the team to deliver objectives\nInvestigate & resolve performance bottlenecks\nContribute to efforts to automate testing\nWork on API, Content management, edge and cloud systems\nLeverage your technical expertise to ensure we adhere to engineering best practices, and evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity and craftsmanship\nYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience\n3+ years of experience in web application development with a focus on backend technologies (Java w/ Spring boot, Python, server-side JavaScript )\nExperience with automation tasks, Kubernetes, CDNs/Edge Compute (like Akamai) and/or cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform\nMust be able to do performance analysis and write unit tests\nExperience working with multi-tier production software systems utilizing HTTP APIs (REST, GraphQL) and Content Management Systems\nDemonstrated ability to understand the tech stack, debug code and tests\nExperience implementing microservices\nExperience with cloud automation technology such as Helm, Terraform, and ArgoCD\nEnthusiastic about the opportunity of impacting the engineering culture from the bottom up\nWhat Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)\n2+ years developing in content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager\nExperience developing in Springboot (Java)\nExperience in Full-Stack Development\nExperience with observability tools like Datadog\nExperience with analytics tools such as Heap and Adobe Analytics\nExperience with automation testing tools such as Browserstack and Playwright\n#LI-CK1\nGm does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
