Assistant Store Manager, Temporary
HART’s Assistant Store Manager is a whip-smart, go-getting, proactive and organized leader who is passionate about delivering an exceptional retail and customer service experience. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, has incredible attention to detail and a healthy sprinkle of perfectionism. This person embodies the HART attitude - a positive, fun, curious person who loves connecting with people. Minimum of 3 years retail management experience required. The person in this role will work Tuesday through Saturday with occasional shifting in order to support the needs of the business. This role requires thoughtful leadership both on-the-floor and back-of-house, including sales support, inventory management, and customer relations. The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and supports all store operations. This is a temporary position which would run from April 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026 with the potential to extend based on the needs of the business.

LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT
❏ Assists store manager in execution of day to day store operation and procedures
❏ Empower retail sales team by demonstrating leadership, trust, confidence, and goals to ensure success of store
❏ Act as manager on duty in instances of Store Manager absence
❏ Implement HART retail and HR guidelines
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
❏ Partner with store manager to oversee physical inventory labor, including weekly charm & chain inventory counts and supply orders ensuring consistent inventory accuracy
❏ Execute ownership of weekly inventory tasks during assigned shifts dedicated to inventory
management
❏ Uphold and maintain loss prevention standards, including team training and ensuring consistency
SALES
❏ Communicate and demonstrate the HART brand aesthetic to the sales team and customer acting as a brand ambassador and “charm therapist”
❏ Act as a mentor and leader on the sales floor (and off!) with positive, inspiring energy
❏ Support private parties and onsite event management
REQUIREMENTS:
Genuine enthusiasm for retail, fashion, and jewelry and an outgoing, friendly demeanor. A strong, natural desire to provide a best-in-class retail experience. Basic-level jewelry assembly (jump rings, pliers) and an artistic eye for detail and scale. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional team focused environment.
This full-time salaried position includes required availability to work a flexible work schedule (days, evenings, weekends, & holidays if required to meet the needs of the business). Occasional after-hours plus travel as needed. Benefits include paid time off, insurance (health, dental, and vision) for eligible employees, and employee discount.
