And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\n\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that’s built for you.\n\nThe Component Engineering Sr role will include a variety of tasks and activities as part of a team within the System Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) organization, with a primary focus on electrical and electronic assemblies.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs Designed and As Build Parts List Review\n\nSupporting customer meetings to include the Parts, Materials and Processes Compliance Board.\n\nDeveloping, monitoring and advocating for Non Standard Part Approval Requests\n\nManaging subcontractors and SDRL submissions\n\nWorking within internal systems such as EPDM and SAP to pull or push programmatic information.\n\nWorking to or revising the Parts, Materials and Processes Plan.\n\nAs an Electrical/Electronics Engineer, you will spend much of your time working in a team environment, obtaining inputs from other engineers, performing analyses, and creating presentations / reports. There may be some travel. You will interact with engineers, suppliers, quality, production operations, program managers, customers, and customer consultants. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, self‑driven, can multitask as needed.\n\nSecurity Clearance Statement\nThis position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Eligible to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nExperience evaluating Parts Lists for non‑standard parts and developing non‑standard parts request.\n\nExperience utilizing military, automotive, or industrial part specifications and standards.\n\nKnowledge of DPA MIL-STD-1580.\n\nKnowledge of parts selection process.\n\nKnowledge of electrical engineering.\n\nAbility to travel ~10%\n\nEligible to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nAbility to perform Galvanic Corrosion Assessments.\n\nAbility to perform Pinsky Analysis.\n\nAbility to perform Derating Analysis.\n\nPrior experience on missile programs.\n\nActive or Current Secret clearance.\n\nPay\nThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765.
