Director of Player Development, Men's Basketball
Job Description Position Overview Director of Player Development will assist with development of our student-athletes. Recruiting, retaining and developing high-achieving student athletes is imperative to the success of the Men's Basketball program and in turn the overall success of the athletics department. Responsibilities Assist in the recruiting, retaining and developing Student-AthletesAids in creating plans and programs for individual and team skill developmentWorks with student athletes in on-court settings to build and develop basketball skillProvides administrative, instructional and coaching assistance to the Head Coach.Fosters meaningful relationships and building trust with student-athletes, coordinating and implementing programs and initiativesOther duties as assigned by head coach. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree of equivalentExcellent communication skillsAble to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff Preferred QualificationsCollegiate or professional athletics experienceKnowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.
