This hybrid role requires both strong organizational skills and technical knowledge to bridge the gap between the field, office, and client.What you will doConstruction Survey CoordinationCoordinate and schedule construction staking services for active land development projectsCommunicate with field crews, project managers, engineers, and contractors to clarify scope, timing, and deliverablesReview construction plans, control data, and CAD files to prepare for field stakingEnsure proper documentation and QA/QC of staking deliverablesTrack project progress and proactively manage deadlines, materials, and crew workloadsEstimating & Proposal SupportPrepare detailed and competitive estimates and proposals for construction staking servicesAnalyze construction documents, specifications, and plans to determine required servicesCollaborate with survey managers and engineers to develop project scope and cost breakdownsMaintain cost databases and historical pricing informationAssist in budget tracking and change order preparation throughout the project lifecycleWhat you have Education + Experience4+ years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in construction staking coordination2+ years of experience in estimating survey work or related civil engineering services.Strong understanding of land development processes and construction documentsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and project management softwareFamiliarity with local regulations, survey standards, and construction practicesPhysical Requirements and/or Working ConditionsProlonged periods of sitting (up to 8 hours a day for office staff)Interacting with technology (computer, cellphone, etc.)Ability to lift and/or carry items ( up to 20 lbs.)Prolonged periods of standing/walking (field checks)Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions(field checks)Occasional travel e.g. driving to offices, jobsites, client meetings, etc. Why Join Us?Great culture - Team Collaboration, Innovative problem solving, Responsive to clients, Passionate about workCompetitive Pay ($30- $35/hr + overtime DOE + location)Paid Holidays Free office snacksMuch more!We welcome the opportunity to partner with recruitment agencies when additional support is needed.
