We support you in supporting others\nHow You Make an Impact:\nProvide supervision and leadership and supervision to the assigned team.\nParticipate in county wide meetings, provide feedback on successes and necessary system re-designs.\nEngage in on-going tracking and evaluation of program goals and effectiveness.\nProvide support to staff when dealing with client crises and problem solving with managers on challenging participant situations.\nProvide feedback, coaching training, and disciplinary action as needed.\nWork with staff to ensure in real time and accurate data entry is occurring.\nWork with Data Specialists on reporting to funders and stakeholders on program activities.\nMonitor assigned employee’s contacts with participants to ensure maximization of funding and program deliverables are met.\nFacilitate case conferencing and administrative meetings.\nDevelop materials, assessment tools, job descriptions, and other program processes/documents/tools.\nDevelop program policy and procedures, services delivery, and other aspects of the program.\nOther duties as assigned.\nHow You Meet Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n3 years of professional experience in the human services, social work, or related field and demonstrated experience working collaboratively with low-income families.\n1 year of direct experience in the provision and supervision of services to individuals who are homeless and/or have extremely low incomes.\nFlexible schedule to work evening and weekend hours as needed.\nUse of personal vehicle and proof of a valid and current California Driver’s License and current insurance along with a clean DMV record required.\nCOMPETENCIES:\nExcellent verbal & written communication, organizational, and time management skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.\nAbility to work well independently and collaboratively with teams.\nStrong ability to represent the interests of the agency, interact effectively with a diverse population with multiple special needs, and be comfortable building successful collaborative relationships with tenants, staff, and with community networking and resource building.\nMust have a working knowledge of Psychiatric Disorders.\nKnowledge and ability to implement the following evidence-based models, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing.\nExperience in building supportive and respectful working relationships with participants and staff.\nPractice and knowledge of culturally sensitive components of direct service delivery through open dialogs and self-exploration with diverse groups.\nExperienced in effectively intervening in crisis situations using de-escalation techniques.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office programs, systems, and platforms.\nAbility to learn and use required mobile devices and business-related applications.\nOutstanding communication skills and high degree of emotional intelligence, cultural humility, with a proven track record to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts.\nNotice: This description is to be used as a guide only.
