Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.About The RoleJob SummaryHelper role assist different shop departments ass needed.PHOENIX, ARIZONAReports ToAssigned Department Manager or designee ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Primary Functions:Have and maintain ability to use and operate forkliftsObserve Company Safety Policy and Procedures; follow and support all STS Safety Policies and ISO ProceduresBe on the job site and in your assigned work area at the scheduled timeMust be self-motivated and willing to learnHandle departments’ recycling and removing of all trash on a daily basisAssure all cables, shackles, straps and chains are put away dailyKeep work area clean and well organized during all phases of the projectWork closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, including all Supervisors, Managers, Leadmen and hourly personnelGeneral cleanup of departments change room / restroom facilitiesProvide assistance to Core departments as requiredMust follow the STS dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all timesMaintain LEAN objections within the departmentPerform specialized task as requiredMaintain accurate time sheets on a daily basisComplete company-required training programs Secondary Functions/Requirements:Steam clean and wash parts in the Wash BayTransport equipment and parts around department and between departmentsUse PPE as identified in risk assessments or other related safety documentsDo not undertake activities that have not been risk assessed, or where an assessment is not available orunderstoodReport any instances of spillage, uncontrolled exposure or other related safety issues to their line managerEnsure the correct use of waste segregation facilities and the efficient use of natural resources and raw materialsMust be able to work overtime when necessaryEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentPHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects.
