Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant has responsibility in the areas of managing incoming and outgoing information, organizing and maintaining records required for licensure, supporting other staff through maintenance of an effective workplace, and providing logistical support to direct service staff. The Administrative Assistant’s function is to maintain an orderly and supportive environment for providing program services, help to maintain the structure and atmosphere that enhances the quality of work, and promote a positive and comfortable work environment.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the agency that includes: directing calls and visitors, database entry, office file management, maintaining office supply inventory, coordination of mailings, ensuring office waste/recycling is delivered to the curb for weekly pickup, and occasional assistance with event planning. Effective and prompt customer service, as well as managing information in a precise manner, is required for both internal and external customers. Flexibility is required for the addition of related responsibilities. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to drive as requested or needed.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications, Education, Experience, Credentials, Licensure
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent;
Highly organized and self-directed;
Excellent attention to details;
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
Ability to relate clearly and confidently with all stakeholders;
Ability to follow instructions to complete projects and meet deadlines; ability to follow directions to assess priorities and make necessary adjustments to allocations of time and materials; ability to multitask daily tasks and ongoing projects; and
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, being receptive to direction and supervision.
