As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of network and systems administration, ensuring the stability, security, and operational readiness of the customer's mission-critical networks.\r\nNOTE: This position will require extensive travel, 50% or more, to Thailand.\r\nJob Description Network Engineering & Operations: Provide comprehensive network administration and engineering support, including the configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of infrastructure hardware and software. Manage and troubleshoot regional network protocols to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.\r\nSystems Administration & Support: Perform Level I and II systems support, including creating and managing user/group accounts, applying system patches and security updates, and conducting regression testing. Monitor and maintain core services such as Domain Controllers, Email, File Servers, and SharePoint.\r\nRegional Infrastructure Coordination: Coordinate with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) J9 for leased equipment and services at hosted Defense Enterprise Computing Centers (DECCs) on Oahu and Japan; provide technical network and systems support for host-nation facilities in Thailand and the Philippines.\r\nSecurity & Compliance: Ensure adherence to strict DoD security standards by implementing and validating Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), responding to Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), and monitoring system logs and backups to guarantee data integrity and availability.\r\nInfrastructure Health & Maintenance: Proactively monitor the health of all infrastructure hardware, including servers, switches, and appliances. Manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for faulty equipment and routinely test backup and restoral procedures to ensure business continuity.\r\nDocumentation & Process Improvement: Develop, write, and maintain clear and concise technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system diagrams, and hardware/software inventories to streamline operations and support knowledge sharing.\r\nQualifications Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of experience; additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.\r\nExperience of network management operations.\r\nExperience with network protocols: BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, etc.\r\nExperience with operating systems: Windows 11, Windows Server, Linux, ESXi.\r\nExperience with infrastructure hardware and appliances.\r\nWorking knowledge of security compliance in a DoD environment: STIGs, GPOs, SCAP, FedRAMP.\r\nFoundational knowledge of cloud and cloud technology.\r\nExperience coordinating with DISA or working in hosted DECC environments, as well as supporting IT networks within host-nation facilities in the Pacific region is highly desired.\r\nRequired Certifications Must have a current DoD IAT level II or higher certification such as CySA+, CASP, Security+ CE etc.\r\nRequired Clearances Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a full TS/SCI Clearance.\r\nMust be a current US Citizen.\r\nTarget salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
