Our customers include enterprises, law firms, and financial institutions operating in regulated markets, including alternative investments, corporate debt, maritime finance, and eGovernment.We are now expanding our engineering footprint in Prague and looking for a strong Elixir developer to join the team that builds the execution engine behind every Agentic Contract.Why this role mattersAgentic Contracts have to do three things at once: stay legally precise, run reliably for years, and execute concurrent obligations across many parties without dropping a single event. That is a near-perfect fit for the BEAM. You will be working on the part of our stack where Elixir/OTP is doing the heavy lifting: long-running supervised processes, event-driven obligation tracking, integrations with banking, IoT, and external data sources, and audit-grade state capture.This is real Elixir work, not Phoenix-CRUD-with-extra-steps.What you will work onDesigning and building OTP-based services that orchestrate contract execution, scheduled obligations, and counterparty workflowsIntegrating with open banking APIs, sanctions/KYC providers, and external data feeds (interest rates, IoT telemetry, asset registries)Building robust event sourcing and audit trails that meet regulatory-grade evidence standardsPhoenix / LiveView interfaces for contract authoring, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop sign-off stepsCollaborating with our legal, compliance, and product teams to translate clauses into reliable executable behaviourContributing to architectural decisions around messaging, persistence, and integration with our Web3 layer (Stellar / Hyperledger)What we are looking forRequired4+ years of professional backend experience, with at least 2 years writing production ElixirStrong grasp of OTP, including supervisors, GenServers, process design, and fault tolerance, not just Phoenix on top of ElixirSolid experience with Phoenix and Ecto, PostgreSQL, and designing well-bounded service APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)Comfortable with testing discipline (ExUnit, property-based testing welcome)Fluent English (our team and customers are international)Nice to haveLiveView in productionBackground in fintech, legaltech, regulated industries, or anywhere correctness and auditability matterExperience with event sourcing, CQRS, or distributed systems patternsExposure to Web3 / smart contract platforms (Stellar, Hyperledger, or similar)Erlang, Rust NIFs, or other BEAM-adjacent skillsLocation and working styleBased in Prague (or relocating). We plan a hub here and value in-person collaboration.Hybrid: typically 2 days per week in the office, the rest remote.
