Responsible for planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of Manufacturing techniques, procedures, and criteria. Devise new approaches to problems, prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable build and quality standards.\n\nEssential Duties And Responsibilities\n\nRequires a broad knowledge of Manufacturing Practices, Assembly Prints, and Bill of Materials to be able to create Manufacturing ready documentation such as S.O.E.’s (Sequence of Events) and Assembly Process Workflow.\n\nProvides technical direction and on-the-job training to production staff.\n\nPlans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates the Manufacturing Engineer portion of the system build.\n\nPrepares and/or modifies work instructions, BOM structures, and training curriculum.\n\nEnsure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on projects.\n\nRequires contact with Customers, vendor representatives. Attends and participates in Customer meetings.\n\nConfers with engineers, technicians, customers, and others to discuss best practices in an effort to streamline build processes and procedures.\n\nInspects completed systems; partners with Manufacturing and Quality organizations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.\n\nSupports project production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.\n\nInvestigating customer or internal issues determines the nature and extent of the problem and recommends corrective actions.\n\nAssists in cost estimations and development of capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.\n\nEvaluates and process Engineering Change Orders.\n\nPerforms other duties as required.\n\nAttendance is an essential duty of this position.\n\nOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
