This role involves managing multiple jobs, maintaining budgets, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality heat trace solutions.\r\nYou'll work closely with customers and internal teams to drive efficiency, profitability, and strong relationships. This position requires balancing field and administrative responsibilities, and travel is required as our projects are located throughout the U.S.\r\nMajor Duties And Responsibilities\r\nThe duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing, and other duties will be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit.\r\nSupervise and direct overall project activities including planning, coordinating, and meeting critical project milestones on smaller projects.\r\nIdentify and resolve project-related problems that may arise.\r\nWork alongside safety department to ensure a zero-accident work environment.\r\nOrganize and update project tracker and other project-specific documents.\r\nComplete construction submittals for projects, forward submittals for larger projects (>$100k) to Project Manager to review, and present final submittals to clients.\r\nReview and complete specification compliance based on the approved submittal.\r\nMaintain submittals after turnover, documents (drawing) logs, and project tracking mechanisms.\r\nReview project schedules and work with project team to coordinate mobilization, set schedule expectations, and provide relevant project updates.\r\nReview turnover documents from the estimating team; generate and share turnover meeting minutes; and create a Project Turnover binder for the Construction Manager.\r\nThrough regular site checks and reporting, manage the project quality control plan, communicate specific systems and materials best suited for the project, and ensure scope work is being completed.\r\nPrepare project progress reports and effectively communicate relevant project information and updates to all internal stakeholders.\r\nRepresent the company in meetings and communications with clients, subcontractors, and important stakeholders.\r\nManage client relationships and client satisfaction.\r\nCollaborate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to project.\r\nPrice, submit, negotiate, and follow through on change orders in a timely manner and update the change order log.\r\nFinalize and submit After Action Review (AAR) document with relevant information and photos.\r\nWith the assistance of Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, provide clear communication and data concerning why the company is winning or losing on a project at time of completion.\r\nManage all project billing, ensuring projects are cash flow positive within 90 days of start.\r\nEvaluate project risk and elevate risk to the Project Manager.\r\nManage inventory of company assets assigned to projects.\r\nNegotiate and coordinate purchase and delivery of materials with external vendors.\r\nWork with Construction Managers/Superintendents regarding project labor needs.\r\nUnderstand and become proficient in systems and specifications related to said systems.\r\nFollow up and follow through on time sensitive tasks, and ensure all deadlines are met.\r\nParticipate in internal Project Manager meetings.\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nAssociates degree with 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction.\r\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or another related field with 1+ years progressively responsible construction experience; or\r\nAny similar combination of education and experience as listed above.\r\nWorking knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods.\r\nAbility to read and comprehend blueprints and mechanical drawings.\r\nDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective and professional relationships with customers, vendors, managers, and colleagues.\r\nStrong interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.\r\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\r\nAttention to detail with a focus on error prevention.\r\nLeadership and problem-solving skills.\r\nDemonstrated experience with conflict resolution and management.\r\nAbility to identify and meet customers' expectations and requirements.\r\nMust be a proactive self-starter, problem solver, and effective team player.\r\nKnowledge of rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.\r\nAbility to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.\r\nProficient using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)\r\nAbility to use Bluebeam and/ or On-screen Takeoff\r\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary\r\nAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements in a positive and constructive manner.\r\nHigh school diploma or GED required;
