In this role, you will get to work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure strategic objectives are being met and coordinated between internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the job will require interacting with our customers, vendors and employees at all levels in the organization. The Program Manager will be responsible for:\nSimultaneously managing deliverables and actions on multiple programs\nFormulating schedules, budgets, and reviews for new awards\nCapturing, documenting, and reporting on project status in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) environment\nDefining processes and goals, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress on projects\nCommunicating progress regularly to customers\nPreparing status reports for upper management. Leading and directing the work of others.\nPosition requirements:\nBachelor's degree\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a project management role\nProficient in Microsoft tools including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word\nMicrosoft Project Experience is critical\nFamiliarity with project management practices and procedures\nSound judgment to plan and accomplish goals\nAble to thrive in fast paced environment\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of organization\nPreference will be given to candidates who possess the following:\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline\n5 years of experience in a project management role\nCompetency in an EVMS tool such as Deltek Cobra or forProject\nPMP certification\nGovernment contracting experience\nMainstream Engineering Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
