Heavy Duty/Medium Duty Automotive Mechanic A-Level **NO WEEKENDS!**

We currently have five (5) locations serving Brooksville, Ocala, Gainesville, and Lake City. We are dedicated to giving all our customers professional service and superior results. We are the Advanced Team! Our diverse offering to our customers helps drive our success! We are currently seeking a team member who believes they can be an “Advanced” Automotive Mechanic. Are you tired of working weekends, or you tired of working nights? Our Schedule – Week days end at 5:00pm, and no Saturdays or Sundays. Here’s a great opportunity for an experienced tech to work with the Advanced team, while keeping your nights and weekends open for yourself to enjoy. There are 8 Certifications you must pass to become a Master, and for each certificate you earn while you work here, Advanced Tire Service will reward you with a $100 bonus each. The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position: Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and high quality Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Manager, so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience, analysis, and testing Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards Perform other duties as assigned Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications: MUST have own tools MUST have experience repairing passenger/light truck, medium duty, and heavy-duty vehicles MUST have experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. ASE certifications are ideal Strong automotive background Strong teamwork skills Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check Must have clean & valid driver's license Skills and Abilities: Safety conscious at all times. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment. Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude. Must have strong time management skills, as well as, close attention to detail. Reliable and dependable with self-initiative. Ability to complete all tasks assigned, properly, with little to no follow-up. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints. Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools. Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to lift and carry 50-150 lbs To be a successful auto mechanic, you should be focused on providing high-quality service to clients as you help them identify, repair, and avert issues that may affect the performance or longevity of their vehicles. You should be thorough, reliable, honest, logical, and motivated. Pay Type: Hourly with potential to enroll in the Mechanic Commission Program; based on experience and length of employment with the company. Pay based on experience. Make the move!
