This role will focus on developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, testing methodologies, and automation practices that ensure secure, scalable, and reliable identity solutions meet the highest standards of performance, security, and compliance.\nYou Will Get To\nDevelop and implement quality assurance and quality control methodologies, processes, and testing frameworks\nEstablish and promote standards for software development lifecycles, testing practices, documentation, and maintenance activities\nPerform code and product reviews throughout the software development lifecycle\nDesign, execute, and maintain manual and automated test strategies across multiple applications and services\nIdentify, document, triage, and track software defects through resolution\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the SDLC\nEvaluate software quality tools, testing frameworks, and industry best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement\nSupport testing efforts across multiple Agile delivery teams and coordinate cross-team testing dependencies\nValidate application functionality, performance, reliability, and security requirements\nContribute to CI/CD testing practices and help ensure code is validated in non-production environments prior to release\nSupport user acceptance testing (UAT), release validation, and production deployment activities\nWho You Are\nPassionate about building quality into software from the beginning\nA detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys identifying risks and improving processes\nComfortable collaborating across engineering, product, and stakeholder teams\nAble to balance strategic quality initiatives with hands-on testing responsibilities\nA strong communicator who can clearly document findings and advocate for quality improvements\nCurious about emerging tools, technologies, and testing best practices\nMotivated by mission-driven work and delivering reliable solutions to end users\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\n7+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering roles\nExperience developing and implementing quality assurance methodologies, testing strategies, and quality standards\nExperience performing code reviews and product reviews throughout the software development lifecycle\nExperience creating, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test plans and test cases\nExperience identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking software defects\nExperience supporting Agile software development teams\nExperience testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software systems\nFamiliarity with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and modern web application architectures\nExperience with testing and quality tools such as Selenium, Cypress, SonarQube, Checkmarx, JMeter, Cucumber, or similar technologies\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills\nNice to Have\nExperience supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, or single sign-on (SSO) platforms\nExperience testing systems utilizing SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or related identity protocols\nExperience testing cloud-native applications deployed within AWS environments\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality gates\nExperience supporting federal government agencies\nCertified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB, 508 Certified Tester, or similar certification\nSalary\nWe are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $80k–$125k annually.
